Setup

ready before your game has loaded.

No virtual cables, no audio routing, no account. Three steps, and the third is playing.

    Install

    One click on the Elgato Marketplace. The Stream Deck app adds Levels by itself.

    Put it on the dials

    Drag Channel onto the four dials. Each one takes Game, Chat, Media or Master from where it sits.

    Play

    Start a game and it lands on the Game dial, with its real name. Discord goes to Chat; Spotify and your browser go to Media.

How it works

That's the whole manual. The same three gestures on every dial.

Turn

2% a click. Hold the dial as you turn for 1% steps.

Press

Mute. Press again and it's back where it was.

Touch

Pick one app on the strip: Spotify, then Chrome, then VLC. The dial now moves only that one.

Games

it knows what you're playing.

Games from Steam, Epic, GOG, Xbox, EA and Ubisoft are found as they start, and the strip shows their name, not a file name. Each game comes back at the level you left it: Neon Rally at 64, Star Drift at 38. Levels learns it while you play.

Priority

hear your team over the explosions.

Turn on Chat first and, the moment someone speaks on Discord, game and music step down. When they stop, the sound comes back up gently. You choose how much, from 10 to 90%. The dials don't move: the strip just says Lowered for Chat.

Media first works the other way round: start a video or a song and the game steps aside.

Max volume

no more deafening menus.

Give any dial a ceiling between 90% and 50%. It stops there and the strip tells you. On Master the cap holds even against the volume keys of Windows.

Keys

keys that say what they're doing.

Mic, Mute all, Priority, Output and your mixes. Each key writes its state (Muted, Talking, Headphones), so you read it from across the desk. Press a mix again and your own levels come back; hold it to save the levels you have now.

Press the Levels key and three pages open on your Stream Deck +, in the skin you use. Add pages of your own if you like.

Skins

make it yours.

Levels comes with its own skin. The others are a click away, each with its own idea of what volume looks like: a sun that rises, lava that cools when you mute, a VU needle with real ballistics. A skin dresses the strip and the keys, and has a transparent version for your own strip image.

Works with

  • SteelSeries SonarThe dials drive Sonar's own channels, and Priority listens only to the right one. Output moves Sonar's channels between headset and speakers, and when Sonar moves them by itself, Levels puts them back on your headset.
  • Voicemod, with SonarIts sounds play on Sonar's Aux fader: put the Sounds channel on a dial and they get a volume, a mute and a live meter.
  • Discord, TeamSpeak, TeamsFound by name and put on Chat.
  • Spotify, browsers, VLCOn Media. Any other app can be moved to a channel from the dial's settings.

where it stops.

Levels is Windows only, built on Windows audio. It controls whole apps, not single sounds inside an app, and it does not route one app to a different output device. Media first reacts to any sound in the Media channel, not only to video. With SteelSeries Sonar, the level of a single app is its Windows volume: SteelSeries GG doesn't show a slider for it.
